LG K40 is better than Sony Xperia Ion, getting a global score of 69.8 against 61.3. Even though the LG K40 is a bit heavier than Sony Xperia Ion, it's much thinner and also notably newer. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but LG K40 has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Sony Xperia Ion has Android 4.1.2, providing some nice extra features.
