Galaxy Nexus Sprint has an overall score of 66.2, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Ion's global score of 61.3. Even though Galaxy Nexus Sprint and Xperia Ion were released with only a few months difference, the Galaxy Nexus Sprint design is a little heavier but also somewhat thinner. These phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy Nexus Sprint has newer 4.3 version while Xperia Ion has Android 4.1.2 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
Galaxy Nexus Sprint features a processor that's very similar to Sony Xperia Ion's processing unit, and although the Galaxy Nexus Sprint has an extra graphics processor, they both have a 1 GB RAM memory and 2 cpu cores. The Xperia Ion features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Nexus Sprint, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, the Xperia Ion also counts with a bit greater display density.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus Sprint features just a bit bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xperia Ion, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory. Galaxy Nexus Sprint features a much better camera than Xperia Ion, although it has a worse video resolution and a much less megapixels back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus Sprint's battery life is very similar to the battery performance in Sony Xperia Ion, although the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Sprint has a 3% smaller battery size.
