BLU R2 Plus is a bit better than Xperia J, getting a general score of 59.3 against 53.9. These phones have Android OS, but the BLU R2 Plus has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while Xperia J has Android 4.1.2, providing you some nice extra features. BLU R2 Plus's construction has the same thickness than the Xperia J, but it is notably heavier.
BLU R2 Plus features a faster processing unit than Xperia J, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with more cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. BLU R2 Plus features a little more vivid screen than Sony Xperia J, because it has a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920, much more pixels per inch in the display and a lot bigger screen.
BLU R2 Plus shoots a lot better videos and photos than Sony Xperia J, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher 13 megapixels resolution and a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. The BLU R2 Plus counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia J, because it has 28 GB more internal memory and an external memory slot that allows up to 64 GB.
BLU R2 Plus features a much longer battery life than Xperia J, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
