The Samsung Galaxy S III has an overall score of 70.8, which is slightly better than Xperia L1's 64.4 score. Samsung Galaxy S III's design has the same thickness than the Xperia L1, but it is way lighter. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S III has the older 4.1.2 version while Xperia L1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version.

The Galaxy S III has a bit better performance than Sony Xperia L1, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S III also counts with an additional GPU. Galaxy S III has a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia L1, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 720px resolution, the Galaxy S III also counts with a little greater quantity of pixels in each display inch.

The Sony Xperia L1 has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia L1 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Xperia L1 features improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 2620mAh battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S III takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xperia L1, although it has a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs or videos in low-light environments.

Galaxy S III is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
