Comparison review

Galaxy J8 is slightly better than the Xperia L4, with a 76.7 score against 71.8. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS, but Galaxy J8 has the previous 10 version and Xperia L4 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy J8 is older than the Xperia L4, it's construction is just a little lighter and just a little bit thinner.

Sony Xperia L4 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Sony Xperia L4 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a quite greater pixels quantity per inch of screen, a slightly higher resolution of 720 x 1680px and a little larger screen.

Xperia L4 features just a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia L4 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Xperia L4 has just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy J8, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy J8 takes much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia L4, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy J8 also has a larger aperture to capture better captures in low-light environments, a more megapixels back camera and a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
