Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is better than Xperia L4's 71.8 general score. Both of these phones work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. Galaxy Note8 is a a little bit heavier device than the Xperia L4, but they are 0.34inches thick. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better performance than Xperia L4, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM.
