Galaxy S8 has a score of 81.7, which is much better than Xperia L4's 71.8 overall score. The Galaxy S8 is an notably older phone than Xperia L4, but Samsung managed to make it somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner anyway. The Galaxy S8 has just a bit better processing power than Xperia L4, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S8 also has more RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a much sharper screen than Sony Xperia L4, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a way better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. Sony Xperia L4 counts with a little bit better memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia L4 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.

Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a very superior camera than Xperia L4, because although it has a less mega pixels back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor, a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a much better (4K) video definition.

Xperia L4 features superior battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
