Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a lot better than the Xperia L4, getting an 88.9 score against 71.8. Even being the best device in this comparison, we must tell that it's also incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has the older 10 version while Xperia L4 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a better looking screen than Xperia L4, because it has more pixels per inch of screen, a much higher 2088 x 2250px resolution and a larger screen. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia L4, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia L4, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a greater amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a way better camera than Sony Xperia L4, because it has a lot bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a camera with way more mega pixels, a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photography.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has just a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia L4, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 3580mAh.
