The Sony Xperia L1 has a global score of 64.4, which is a little bit better than Xperia M2's 58.6 overall score. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Sony Xperia L1 has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version while Xperia M2 has Android 4.4.4 version. Sony Xperia L1 is a somewhat heavier phone than Xperia M2, but both of them have the same thickness.
The Xperia M2 and the Sony Xperia L1 both have really similar processing units, because although the Sony Xperia L1 has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have 4 cores, it also counts with more RAM memory. The Xperia M2 has a better looking screen than Xperia L1, although it has a little bit inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen, a quite smaller display and a way worse 960 x 540 resolution.
The Sony Xperia L1 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Xperia M2, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Sony Xperia L1 counts with a very superior camera than Sony Xperia M2, because it has a back camera with way more MP.
Xperia L1 counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia M2, because it has 2620mAh of battery capacity against 2300mAh.
