The Xperia PRO-I is way better than the HTC One M9, getting a overall score of 96.3 against 77.7. Xperia PRO-I's body is a lot newer and just a little thinner, but also noticeably heavier than HTC One M9. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but the Xperia PRO-I has 11 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, providing some nice extra features.
HTC One M9 counts with a little faster CPU than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a graphics processor. HTC One M9 has a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia PRO-I, although it has a lot smaller display, a way worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and much less pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xperia PRO-I has a slightly better camera than HTC One M9, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video quality, a much less megapixels resolution camera and a tinier sensor, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better images and video in low light situations. Sony Xperia PRO-I features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has an external SD slot that supports up to 1 TB and more internal memory capacity.
Xperia PRO-I features a superior battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.
