Xperia PRO-I is much better than the Moto Z2 Play, having a 96.3 score against 77.4. Xperia PRO-I's design is extremely newer than the Moto Z2 Play's, but it is heavier and notably thicker. The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a much better screen than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a much higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, a larger screen and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.
The Xperia PRO-I features a bit better CPU than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia PRO-I also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia PRO-I captures slightly better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, and they both have a 12 mega-pixels back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also counts with higher 120 frames per second video frame rates.
Xperia PRO-I features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has an external memory slot that supports 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory. Xperia PRO-I has a way better battery performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 50% greater battery capacity.
