Xperia PRO-I is much better than Samsung Galaxy A50, getting a overall score of 96.3 against 83.8. Although the Xperia PRO-I is much newer than the Samsung Galaxy A50, it is thicker and incredibly heavier. Sony Xperia PRO-I has a more vivid display than Galaxy A50, because it has a lot higher screen density, a bit larger display and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also has 8 GB more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia PRO-I captures a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller sensor taking lower quality videos and photos, a much worse resolution camera and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better video resolution.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy A50, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that allows up to 1 TB. Sony Xperia PRO-I features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A50, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
