The Xperia PRO-I is a lot better than Galaxy A8 (2018), with a 96.3 score against 79.2. The Xperia PRO-I design is extremely newer, but notably heavier and just a little thicker than the Galaxy A8 (2018). The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840, a bigger screen and a higher screen pixel density.

Sony Xperia PRO-I has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage.

The Sony Xperia PRO-I shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a smaller camera aperture and a way worse resolution camera, it also counts with a way better video definition. The Xperia PRO-I has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
