Xperia PRO-I is a lot better than Samsung Galaxy J8, with a overall score of 96.3 against 76.7. The Xperia PRO-I is a notably newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it is just a little thicker and much heavier. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia PRO-I has a newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10.
Sony Xperia PRO-I features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a bit larger display, a much higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a much greater pixels number per inch in the screen. The Xperia PRO-I features a superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy J8, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage.
Xperia PRO-I counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy J8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia PRO-I also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia PRO-I features superior battery performance than Galaxy J8, because it has a 29 percent larger battery capacity.
Sony Xperia PRO-I shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing photos and videos in poorly lited environments, a much worse resolution back-facing camera and a smaller sensor giving a worse image quality, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.
