Xperia PRO-I is a lot better than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, getting a overall score of 96.3 against 78.1. The Xperia PRO-I body is newer and just a little bit thinner, but also incredibly heavier than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. Both of these phones use the same Android 11 OS (operating system). The Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also has a larger amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia PRO-I features a lot better looking display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of screen, a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a bigger display. The Xperia PRO-I features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 1 TB, the Xperia PRO-I also has 512 GB internal storage.
The Xperia PRO-I shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a back-facing camera with a way worse 12 mega pixels resolution and a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. The Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 50% more battery size.
