Comparison review
Xperia PRO-I has an overall score of 96.3, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1 III's score of 93.3. Xperia PRO-I's design is heavier and just a little thicker than Sony Xperia 1 III. These phones work with the same Android 11 OS, so both should give you identical OS features. The Sony Xperia 1 III and Sony Xperia PRO-I have quite similar screens, both of them have the same quantity of pixels per inch of display, a display of the same size and an equal resolution of 1644 x 3840.
The Xperia PRO-I counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia 1 III, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB, the Xperia PRO-I also has 256 GB more internal memory. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a CPU that's very similar to the Xperia PRO-I one, both have a 12 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 III counts with a battery duration that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Xperia PRO-I. The Sony Xperia 1 III shoots slightly better videos and photos than Xperia PRO-I, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same resolution back camera, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a lot bigger camera sensor taking way better quality photos and a larger aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations.
