Sony Xperia PRO-I is way better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, getting a 96.3 score against 77.7. Despite being the best device in this review, the Sony Xperia PRO-I is a somewhat thicker and way heavier device than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia PRO-I has older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Xperia PRO-I has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia PRO-I also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia PRO-I features a better display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a little bit bigger display, a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a way greater screen pixel density.
Xperia PRO-I has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a tinier aperture and a tinier back camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a 12 megapixels back-facing camera, the Xperia PRO-I also counts with faster 120 frames per second video frame rate.
Xperia PRO-I has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 512 GB internal memory. Xperia PRO-I has longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 34 percent larger battery capacity.
