Comparison review

Xperia PRO-I has a score of 96.3, which is way better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's 75.7 score. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia PRO-I has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12. Despite being the best in our current comparison, Xperia PRO-I is an older, somewhat heavier and thicker phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.

Xperia PRO-I has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a way greater pixel number per screen inch. The Xperia PRO-I features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB and 512 GB internal memory.

Xperia PRO-I has a very superior hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia PRO-I also has 6 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro captures much better videos and photos than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a lot larger sensor which provides a much better image and video quality, a bigger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light situations and a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has just a little bit longer battery performance than Xperia PRO-I, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
