Comparison review
Xperia PRO is a little bit better than Huawei P40, having a global score of 94.3 against 86.4. The Xperia PRO construction is newer than Huawei P40's, but it is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker. These devices include the same Android 10 OS, so they should offer the same OS features. The Huawei P40 counts with a CPU that's just as good as the Xperia PRO one, and although the Huawei P40 has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia PRO features a sharper screen than Huawei P40, because it has a much higher display density, a little bit bigger display and a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Huawei P40 has a better camera than Sony Xperia PRO, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way more mega pixels back camera and a much larger sensor.
Xperia PRO features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40, because it has more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1 TB. The Xperia PRO counts with just a little better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia PRO is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia PRO, else you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40, letting go a couple specs and features.
