Comparison review
The Xperia PRO has a global score of 94.3, which is better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 general score. These devices work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that. The Xperia PRO is a newer cellphone than the Huawei P40 Lite, although it's heavier and thicker.
Xperia PRO has a more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, a much higher screen pixel density and a bit larger screen. Sony Xperia PRO features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 512 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1 TB.
The Xperia PRO counts with a bit faster CPU than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia PRO also has a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P40 Lite features a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia PRO, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery size. Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia PRO, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor offering a worse image quality, a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and video in low-light environments and worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a back camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40 Lite. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei P40 Lite, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
