Comparison review
The Sony Xperia PRO has a general score of 94.3, which is better than LG G8X ThinQ's global score of 82.7. Sony Xperia PRO's construction is newer than the LG G8X ThinQ's, but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. These phones work with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features.
Xperia PRO counts with a better display than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a lot more pixels per inch of display, a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a quite larger display. Xperia PRO features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Xperia PRO and the LG G8X ThinQ count with extremely similar processing units, and although the LG G8X ThinQ has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The LG G8X ThinQ features a battery life that is just as good as the battery duration in Sony Xperia PRO. Xperia PRO takes a little bit better photographs and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same video frame rate and a back facing camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution, the Xperia PRO also has a larger aperture and a lot bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Although Sony Xperia PRO is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G8X ThinQ. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the LG G8X ThinQ, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
