Comparison review
Xperia PRO has a score of 94.3, which is much better than Microsoft Surface Duo 2's 85.3 general score. Although the Xperia PRO and Microsoft Surface Duo 2 were released with only 8 months difference, Xperia PRO's design is notably thicker but also much lighter than Microsoft Surface Duo 2. These phones use Android OS, but Xperia PRO has the previous 10 version while Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has Android 11.
The Xperia PRO counts with a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a lot greater pixels number per screen inch. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2's CPU is very similar to the processor in Xperia PRO, they have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia PRO has a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo 2. Both of them have the same video quality, the same video frame rate, the same aperture and a same resolution back-facing camera. The Sony Xperia PRO counts with a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 384 GB more internal memory.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia PRO, because it has a 4449mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface Duo 2. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
