Xperia PRO has an overall score of 94.3, which is way better than the Moto Z2 Play's overall score of 77.4. Xperia PRO is a newer device than the Moto Z2 Play, although it's incredibly thicker and notably heavier. The Xperia PRO counts with a bit better processing power than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia PRO also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia PRO features a better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a much higher screen pixel density, a bigger display and a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Xperia PRO has much more memory capacity for games and applications than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has an external SD slot that holds 976 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia PRO captures better photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture, a 12 MP resolution camera and the same video quality, the Sony Xperia PRO also has better 60 fps video frame rates. Xperia PRO has better battery performance than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia PRO, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto Z2 Play, letting go a couple specifications.
