The Sony Xperia PRO has a general score of 94.3, which is much better than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s 75.8 score. Sony Xperia PRO's body is noticeably newer, but thicker and notably heavier than Galaxy A5 (2017). The Xperia PRO has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia PRO also has more RAM.
The Xperia PRO has a brighter display than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a bigger screen, a way higher display pixel density and a lot better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Xperia PRO features a very superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia PRO features greater battery duration than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Xperia PRO captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a way worse resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
