Comparison review
The Sony Xperia PRO is much better than the Samsung Galaxy M40, with a score of 94.3 against 85. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS, so both of them should provide the user the same OS features. The Sony Xperia PRO design is newer than the Samsung Galaxy M40's, but it is extremely heavier and thicker.
The Xperia PRO counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia PRO also has more RAM. Sony Xperia PRO has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a lot higher pixels quantity per inch in the display.
The Sony Xperia PRO features a superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy M40 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia PRO, because although it has a way smaller camera sensor providing a much lower image quality and slower video frame rate, and they both have a F1.7 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a way better 32 MP resolution camera in the back.
The Sony Xperia PRO counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
