Comparison review
Xperia PRO is much better than Samsung Galaxy S9, getting a 94.3 score against 83.3. The Xperia PRO construction is way newer, but way heavier and somewhat thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S9. The Xperia PRO counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S9, because it has a little larger screen, a little bit better display pixel density and a better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia PRO has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia PRO also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Sony Xperia PRO counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has an external memory slot that admits up to 1 TB and more internal memory capacity.
The Xperia PRO captures clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or video in low-light situations, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia PRO also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and pictures.
Sony Xperia PRO has longer battery life than Galaxy S9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S9, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
