Comparison review
The Xperia PRO is better than the Sony Xperia 1, getting a 94.3 score against 82.6. Xperia PRO's body is newer than Sony Xperia 1's, although it's way heavier and thicker. Xperia 1 and Sony Xperia PRO both have quite similar processors, and although the Xperia 1 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Sony Xperia 1 counts with a little more vivid screen than Xperia PRO. Both of them have a screen with the same size, the same pixels density and exactly the same 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution. Xperia PRO has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xperia 1, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Xperia PRO has greater battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3330mAh. Sony Xperia PRO shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photos and videos, and they both have a camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution and the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia PRO also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor and faster video frame rate.
Although Sony Xperia PRO is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia 1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia 1. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
