Comparison review
Sony Xperia PRO is slightly better than the Xperia 1 III, getting a score of 94.3 against 93.3. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the Sony Xperia PRO has 10 version and Xperia 1 III has Android 11. Sony Xperia PRO's construction is somewhat heavier and way thicker than the Xperia 1 III.
Xperia 1 III features a screen that is just as good as the Sony Xperia PRO one, both have a same size display, the same exact resolution of 1644 x 3840px and the same pixels density. Sony Xperia 1 III features a bit more powerful processor than Xperia PRO, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a bit better camera than Sony Xperia PRO, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same resolution back-facing camera and a same size sensor, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has better video frame rate. The Xperia PRO has much more storage to install games and applications than Xperia 1 III, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports up to 1 TB, the Xperia PRO also has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has just a little better battery life than Xperia PRO, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Sony Xperia PRO is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia 1 III, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia 1 III. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia PRO, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xperia 1 III, resigning a couple specifications.
