Comparison review
The Sony Xperia PRO is a lot better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a 94.3 score against 77.5. Sony Xperia PRO's construction is a lot newer, but much thicker and just a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The Sony Xperia PRO features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia PRO also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia PRO has a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little bit larger display, a lot higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and much more pixels per inch of display. Xperia PRO shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia PRO also has a lot larger sensor providing a much better image quality, faster 60 fps video frame rates and a way larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos.
The Sony Xperia PRO has a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has 512 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with better battery life than Xperia PRO, because it has a 5300mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia PRO, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, resigning some features and specifications.
