The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is a little bit better than Xperia U, getting a global score of 60.4 against 55. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has a more recent 4.2 version while Xperia U has Android 4.0. Even though Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is extremely heavier than Xperia U, it's thinner and also newer.
The Galaxy Grand Neo features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia U, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Sony Xperia U has a little bit better display than Galaxy Grand Neo, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 854 x 480px resolution and a greater display density.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia U, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo counts with a much better camera than Sony Xperia U. They have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo features a superior battery duration than Xperia U, because it has a 2100mAh battery size.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is also a lot cheaper.
