Galaxy A50 has a general score of 83.8, which is way better than Sony Xperia V's 64.2 overall score. Galaxy A50's construction is a lot newer and extremely thinner, but also much heavier than the Sony Xperia V. Galaxy A50 has a quite superior processing power than Xperia V, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and 3 GB more RAM.
The Sony Xperia V features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy A50, although it has a really smaller display, a way lower resolution of 1280 x 720 and a bit lower pixel number in each inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy A50 features a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia V, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A50 has a lot better camera than Xperia V, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and a back camera with a way better resolution. Galaxy A50 has a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia V, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 1750mAh.
Galaxy A50 is a little more expensive than the Xperia V, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
