Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A6 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia X Compact, getting a 75.8 score against 71.8. Samsung Galaxy A6's construction is newer and thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Sony Xperia X Compact. The Sony Xperia X Compact has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A6, although it has lesser cpu cores , they both have the same RAM amount.
The Sony Xperia X Compact counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy A6, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 720 x 1280px, it also counts with a bit higher pixel density. Sony Xperia X Compact takes clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and video in low light environments, and they both have the same video quality, the Sony Xperia X Compact also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, better 60 frames per second video frame rates and a back facing camera with a much better 23 mega-pixels resolution.
Galaxy A6 counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia X Compact, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A6 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy A6 counts with a little better battery duration than Xperia X Compact, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
