Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a global score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Xperia X Performance's 72.3 global score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is notably heavier than the Xperia X Performance, it's thinner and also newer. Xperia X Performance has just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Xperia X Performance also counts with a greater display pixel density.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia X Performance, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a little faster processor than Xperia X Performance, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (although slower).
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better battery life than Sony Xperia X Performance, because it has a 96 percent more battery size. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia X Performance, although it has a way tinier back-facing camera sensor offering a lot lower image quality, a lot less MP resolution back camera and a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting images in poorly lited environments.
