Apple iPhone 6s Plus is better than Xperia X, having an 84.2 score against 72.9. Although Apple iPhone 6s Plus and Xperia X were released only 9 months apart, Apple iPhone 6s Plus's design is way heavier but just a bit thinner. IPhone 6s Plus features a superior processing unit than Xperia X, because although it has 4 lesser cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processor and an extra graphics co-processor.
Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a brighter display than Xperia X, because although it has a bit worse number of pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Apple iPhone 6s Plus also counts with a bit larger display. Apple iPhone 6s Plus counts with a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia X, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
IPhone 6s Plus counts with a little longer battery life than Sony Xperia X, because it has a 5% more battery size. Sony Xperia X shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 6s Plus, and although they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia X also has higher 60 fps video frame rates, a camera in the back with much more mega pixels, a lot bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and a bigger aperture to take better captures and videos in low-light situations.

If you prefer to save some money, you can get Sony Xperia X, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
