Comparison review

The LG G5 has a general score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than the Xperia X's 72.9 score. Although LG G5 and the Xperia X were only released with a few months difference, LG G5's design is just a little heavier but a bit thinner. The LG G5 features a bit faster processor than Xperia X, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.

The LG G5 counts with just a bit better looking display than Xperia X, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per inch of display. Xperia X shoots a bit better photos and videos than LG G5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xperia X also counts with a larger sensor, a much more mega pixels back camera and faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.

LG G5 features a much greater memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia X, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the LG G5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G5 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia X, because it has a 2800mAh battery capacity.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia X. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the LG G5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia X, giving up a couple features and specifications.
