Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has a general score of 75.8, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia X's 72.9 general score. Despite being the best in this review, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)'s body is a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Sony Xperia X. Xperia X counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xperia X also counts with a just a bit greater count of pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy A7 (2017) counts with a little better performance than Sony Xperia X, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Galaxy A7 (2017) also has a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) features a slightly bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia X, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) counts with a much better battery life than Xperia X, because it has a 3600mAh battery size. Xperia X shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for capturing images or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video definition, the Xperia X also counts with higher video frame rates and a back camera with lot more mega pixels.
