Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Xperia X's 72.9 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 construction has the same thickness than Xperia X, but it's heavier. The Xperia X counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more cpu cores.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with a more vivid display than Xperia X, because it has a little more pixels per inch of screen, a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a bit bigger screen. The Xperia X has a greater storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 200 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia X, because it has a 3000mAh battery size. The Xperia X has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same video quality, the Xperia X also counts with a back camera with way more megapixels, faster 60 fps video frame rate and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia X. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xperia X, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
