Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Edge is better than Sony Xperia X, getting a overall score of 85.7 against 72.9. The Galaxy S6 Edge is an older cellphone than the Sony Xperia X, but Samsung was able to make it just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter. Galaxy S6 Edge has a superior processing unit than Sony Xperia X, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64 bits CPU, an additional graphics processor and a higher number of cores (and also faster).

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a lot better display than Xperia X, because it has a little bigger display, a better screen pixel density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia X, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

Xperia X captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light captures, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia X also counts with a way higher resolution camera in the back and a larger sensor.

Sony Xperia X and Galaxy S6 Edge feature incredibly similar battery durations, although the Galaxy S6 Edge has 2600mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia X. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia X, letting go some features and specifications.
