Comparison review

The Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is much better than Xperia X's global score of 72.9. Xperia 1's design is noticeably newer, but just a little thicker and heavier than Xperia X. Sony Xperia 1 has a brighter display than Xperia X, because it has a bigger screen, a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a greater pixel density.

The Xperia 1 has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Sony Xperia X, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia 1 features a little bit better processing power than Xperia X, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.

Sony Xperia X has a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Sony Xperia X also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures, a lot more mega pixels camera in the back and higher video frame rate.

The Sony Xperia 1 counts with better battery duration than Xperia X, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Sony Xperia X. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Sony Xperia X, resigning a couple features and specs.
