Sony Xperia 1 III is way better than the Xperia X, with a global score of 93.3 against 72.9. The Sony Xperia 1 III construction is incredibly newer than the Xperia X's, although it's heavier and a little bit thicker. Xperia 1 III has a brighter screen than Xperia X, because it has a higher screen pixel density, a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a larger display.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a quite superior performance than Xperia X, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores. Sony Xperia 1 III has a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia X, because although it has a camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video quality, a lot larger camera sensor capturing much better quality pictures and a bigger aperture to take better low light photography and videos.
Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia X, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia X, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2620mAh.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia X. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia X, resigning some features and specifications.
