The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia X, getting a score of 76 against 72.9. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 body has the same thickness than the Sony Xperia X, but it is a bit heavier. Xperia X has a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xperia X also counts with a just a little greater pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a bit better processing unit than Sony Xperia X, because although it has 2 less cores , it also counts with more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a better storage to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia X, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a superior battery lifetime than Xperia X, because it has a 4070mAh battery capacity. The Xperia X counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera in the back, the same (Full HD) video resolution and a F2 diafragm aperture, the Xperia X also has a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia X. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Sony Xperia X, giving up some features and specs.
