Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Xperia XA Ultra's score of 71. The Moto Z2 Play is a newer phone, and it's also extremely lighter and much thinner than the Xperia XA Ultra. Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a bit sharper display than Xperia XA Ultra, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also counts with a just a little higher pixels number per screen inch.

Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XA Ultra, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play counts with a bit better CPU than Xperia XA Ultra, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Moto Z2 Play also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia XA Ultra shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for taking photos and video in low light situations, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XA Ultra also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back.

Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Xperia XA Ultra, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.

Moto Z2 Play costs a bit more than Xperia XA Ultra, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
