Asus ZenFone 8 is much better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, getting an 83 score against 73.7. The Asus ZenFone 8 construction is noticeably newer and lighter, but just a bit thicker than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ZenFone 8 has an older 11 version while Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Asus ZenFone 8 features a sharper screen than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a little bigger screen, a quite greater pixels count in each inch of screen and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a bigger storage to install applications and games than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

Asus ZenFone 8 features a little better hardware performance than Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a greater amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone 8 captures much better photos and videos than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better 64 mega pixels resolution, a way larger back camera sensor capturing way better quality videos and photos, a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and video.

Asus ZenFone 8 has just a bit better battery duration than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3430mAh.
