Comparison review

Huawei Mate X is a lot better than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, having a score of 89.4 against 73.7. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Huawei Mate X is a much newer device than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, but it's way thicker and notably heavier.

The Huawei Mate X counts with a little bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate X features a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a much larger display, a lot better resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a little bit higher pixels count per inch of display.

The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way smaller sensor, a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light images and video and a back-facing camera with a way lower 23 mega-pixels resolution. The Huawei Mate X features much more memory to install applications and games than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 480 GB more internal memory capacity.

Huawei Mate X counts with better battery performance than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia XA1 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia XA1 Plus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save some money and buy the Xperia XA1 Plus, resigning some specs and features.
