Comparison review

The LG G5 has a score of 76.1, which is slightly better than Xperia XA1 Plus's general score of 73.7. Despite of the fact that LG G5 is older than Xperia XA1 Plus, it's construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. Both of these phones come with the same Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. LG G5 has a bit better display than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.

The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit better processing unit than LG G5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores. LG G5 features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG G5 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.

Xperia XA1 Plus counts with longer battery life than LG G5, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. The LG G5 has a bit better camera than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking less light and dull colors and a camera in the back with a way lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture and a way higher (4K) video definition.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs more money than Xperia XA1 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia XA1 Plus. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Xperia XA1 Plus, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
