LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is much better than Xperia XA1 Plus's global score of 73.7. Both devices in this comparison review have Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. LG G8 ThinQ's body is newer, somewhat lighter and a little thinner than the Xperia XA1 Plus.

LG G8 ThinQ features a much better looking screen than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a much better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a quite bigger screen. The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit superior CPU than Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

LG G8 ThinQ features a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ's battery life is very similar to Xperia XA1 Plus's battery duration, although the LG G8 ThinQ also has a 3500mAh battery size against 3430mAh.

LG G8 ThinQ has a bit better camera than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a much less mega-pixels back facing camera and a tinier sensor capturing less light and dull colors, it also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution and a lot bigger camera aperture for better low light photos and video.
