The Nokia 7.2 is just a bit better than the Xperia XA1 Plus, with a 75.9 score against 73.7. The Nokia 7.2 body is noticeably newer, just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter than Xperia XA1 Plus. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Nokia 7.2 has the older 10 version while Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Nokia 7.2 and Sony Xperia XA1 Plus count with quite similar displays, although the Nokia 7.2 also has a just a little more pixels per display inch, a quite bigger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340. Nokia 7.2 features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Nokia 7.2 and Xperia XA1 Plus both have incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Nokia 7.2 has 3 GB more RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Nokia 7.2's battery duration is very similar to Xperia XA1 Plus's battery lifetime, although the Nokia 7.2 also has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
Nokia 7.2 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Nokia 7.2 also has a larger sensor which provides a higher image and video quality, a bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in low light environments and a way more MP camera in the back.
