OnePlus 8 Pro has a score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XA1 Plus's overall score of 73.7. OnePlus 8 Pro is a a lot newer and a little bit thinner phone than the Xperia XA1 Plus, although it is also just a bit heavier. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a better looking display than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a way better 1440 x 3168 resolution, more pixels per inch of display and a bigger screen.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit superior processor than Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has more RAM memory. OnePlus 8 Pro features a better storage capacity to install games and applications than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
OnePlus 8 Pro features longer battery life than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a 4510mAh battery size against 3430mAh. OnePlus 8 Pro has a very superior camera than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a lot bigger sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality, a way better (4K) video quality, a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in low light environments and a lot better resolution camera in the back.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
