Galaxy A50s has a general score of 86.6, which is better than the Xperia XA1 Plus's global score of 73.7. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the Galaxy A50s has the previous 10 version and Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy A50s's body is way newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than the Xperia XA1 Plus.

Sony Xperia XA1 Plus and Galaxy A50s have extremely similar screens, although the Galaxy A50s also has a bigger display, a bit greater pixels amount in each inch of screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340. Galaxy A50s features a bit superior processor than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A50s also has more RAM.

Galaxy A50s features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy A50s shoots much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy A50s also has a larger sensor providing a higher image quality, a way higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera and a way higher (4K) video resolution.
