Galaxy M20 has an overall score of 78.9, which is a little bit better than Xperia XA1 Plus's 73.7 score. Even though the Galaxy M20 is just a bit thicker than the Xperia XA1 Plus, it's a bit lighter and newer. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Galaxy M20 has an older 10 version while Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M20, although it has a little smaller screen, a little bit worse screen density and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy M20, although it has 1 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy M20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus also counts with a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy M20 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy M20 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a 46 percent bigger battery size.
